My name is David and I am a pre-licensed clinician, working towards independent licensure by the end of the year. For the last four years I have worked in community and in-patient psychiatric mental health. I’ve become equipped to working with a large variety of mental health conditions. Recognizing I wanted to work with client goals that extend past just stabilization, practicing at CARE was a natural next step.
I will meet you where you are with compassion and kindness. I recognize that to reach growth you must sit in uncomfortable spaces, I can help you through those moments to reach the goals you’ve identified and set for yourself. Healing can also be found in laughter and levity, together we will navigate what you need session by session.
As a social worker I have worked serving populations such as; people with disability and accessibility accommodation needs, supporting veterans in dealing with legal aid services, crisis response through community mental health, statewide violence prevention research, crisis stabilization, group psychotherapy, and case management. I have consistently worked with diverse populations and will always strive to do the same for you and for our community. If you are ready to start addressing concerns such as traumas, anxieties, or other issues, let’s get started I’m here to help you.
