Our Internship Approach

How the CARE Internship Experience works

We want interns to feel supported, challenged, and deeply connected to the work they are learning to do.

  1. 1

    Apply & Connect

Tell us about your program, goals, and why CARE feels like the right fit.

  2. 2

    Interview for Fit

We look for alignment with our mission, values, and approach to therapy.

  3. 3

    Learn the CARE Model

Understand how we think about symptoms, beliefs, and meaningful change.

  4. 4

    Practice with Support

Build confidence through supervised learning and real-world clinical exposure.

  5. 5

    Grow Your Next Step

Strong interns may have opportunities to continue with CARE after graduation.

Why It Matters

We combine clinical growth with real support.

A great internship should do more than check a requirement. It should help you become a stronger therapist with clearer direction, deeper confidence, and a better understanding of how meaningful therapy works.

Clinical Confidence

Build practical skills and stronger judgment through hands-on learning.

Root-Cause Thinking

Learn to look beyond symptoms and understand what is really driving them.

Mentorship That Matters

Receive thoughtful support from clinicians who want to help you grow.
